BIO:
Cindy is a native of IL, who moved to Florida in December 2000.
Before retiring to Florida,
she owned a home studio where she instructed weekly classes.
She also had the opportunity
to teach for several years at art conventions at Utah State University,
and has returned to IL. to
hold all day workshops. She is self-taught, obtaining guidance
by attending seminars and
conventions where she completed many classes given by nationally acclaimed
artists. She has
earned teacher certification under Ann Kinglsan and Mary Gibilisko.
she has won awards at the
Venice Art Center, Englewood Art Center, the Bowles Award for Portraiture
at the visual Art Center in Punta Gorda and recently First Place at the
North Port Invitational Show held at the Englewood Art Center. Her
career stared in the decorative field, with custom designing in Springfield
homes and businesses. She has enjoyed working with the Charlotte
County Recreation Department holding weekly classes at the Tringali Center
and is currently teaching at the Englewood Art Center and will soon be
teaching at the North Port Art Center. She is basically an oil painter,
but will occasionally complete and sell works in watercolor and acrylics.
Lately she has been painting wall murals in area homes and is always ready
to accept portrait commissions. She is a member of the Englewood
Art Center, Visual Art Center of Punta Gorda, Venice Art Center and the
Art Alliance of Lemon Bay.

Personal Statement:
I feel very fortunate to be involved in the vocation of art.
Hopefully when you view my work you will see the nurturing hand of
a mother,
the admiring eye of a realist, and spirited soul of an artist.
Is is my dream to
share with others the reflections of God's beautiful creations.
I hope that the
art I create will inspire your spirit.
